MASSAGE
Swedish
Using massage techniques originating in Sweden, Swedish massage is a common modality of relaxation and release of tension in the muscles while promoting circulation of blood to the areas treated. Swedish massage incorporates gliding, kneading and friction movements with active/passive joint movements. It can be performed as light or as strong as desired.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is a strong form of tension releasing therapy. Pressure point release, deep tissue efflurage along muscle fibres, as well as joint release techniques can aid in the relief from stiffness and chronic or acute pain. This type of therapy is not suitable for everyone but it can be very effective.
